Test Engineer Battery Systems (m/w/d)

Your tasks:

This is your job in the future

• Creation and further development of a generic test concept for the HV batteries (areas 12 V, 48 V and high-voltage)
• Development of test methods for battery protection (in particular methods for shortening the fuse duration)
• Development of new ideas for measurement methodology for electrical, geometric and thermal test methods
• Creation of specifications for tests at battery level to ongoing projects by the departments of project-specific parameters (lifetime, characteristics and functions)
• Optimization of testing and transfer of findings from the test laboratory to the test specifications
• Implementation and evaluation of the test reviews

Your qualifications:

Our expectations for you

• Studies in Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics (Diplom, Bachelor or Master)
• Experience in the development of control units in the automotive environment
• Experience in creating test specifications
• Experience in the field of testing of control units, in particular standard tests in the ranges 12 V, 48 V and high voltage
• Knowledge of how to handle DOORS
