You conduct independent electrical network calculations (e.g. load flow, train travel simulation, short-circuit and protection adjustment calculations) in the 50 Hz and DC power networks operated by the DB energy You can also update the electrical network models and run network data management for the S-Bahn energy supply Berlin and Hamburg You check projects and project applications to comply with the requirements of the network design The continuous updating of the future operational requirements of the S-Bahnen in Berlin and Hamburg is also one of your tasks In addition, you are responsible for compliance with the specified specifications in the framework of specifications, projects and strategies You also represent the interests of DB Energie in internal and external bodies or working groups

Your profile:

You have a completed study of electrical engineering / energy technology or a comparable discipline including at least 1 year of practical professional experience in the field of energy supply, energy technology or railway energy supply that has a comparable qualification including long-term professional experience You also have good knowledge of the current technical application rules and standards for DC and 50 Hz networks In addition, you could already build expertise and experience with electrical network calculations (ideally in the context of railway power supply) You also have knowledge of German and English with a minimum level B2 You bring a high level of sense of responsibility, self-initiative, flexibility and resilience, as well as the ability to analytical thinking and structured work, and also have a pronounced problem-solving competence, team skills and communication skills The willingness to travel is of course for you
