Material Data Expert (m⁠/⁠w⁠/⁠d)

Conception and implementation of automation solutions to avoid manual master data management – scalable across all production sites and geared to a fast production capability. Conduct regular and ad-hoc analyses for the completeness, consistency and quality of master data in order to make data gaps visible early and to minimize risks. Close cooperation with IT, SAP base and specialist areas for the development and implementation of practical solutions for productive operation. Building transparency through the creation of reports, dashboards and KPI cockpits in SAP Analytics Cloud, SAP BW and Excel as the basis of sound decisions. Processing and communication of complex data relationships in a comprehensible form for departments and management. Further development of SAP material master data structures, fields and standards with the aim of sustainable and long-term data quality. Definition and establishment of governance policies, naming conventions and binding standards for all material-relevant SAP objects. Active participation in the automation and digitization strategy in the field of material master data as a driving force for future-oriented processes and systems.

Successfully completed studies in the field of economic engineering, business informatics, mechanical engineering or a comparable qualification Multiannual professional experience in an internationally operating, producing company experience in materials management, production or operations; Knowledge of master data management is advantageous Funded understanding of material management and production processes as well as basic knowledge in project management Knowledge of data governance and master data management Secure handling of SAP MM, SAP change service, SAP BW, SAP Analytics Cloud and Power Query German and English knowledge in word and writing Intercultural competence and joy in cooperation in international teams High self-initiative, structured operation and pronounced solution orientation Communication and coordination strength and readiness to actively shape changes
