Asylum Clerk (m/w/d)

As part of the Hamburg metropolitan region, the district of Segeberg is conveniently located in the middle of Schleswig-Holstein between the North and the Baltic Sea and is a reliable employer for around 1,100 employees. As a member of our team, you are responsible for the handling of third-country nationals and EU citizens. Their task is, among other things, the control of the move of foreigners to Germany, the regulation of the stay in the federal territory and possible preparations for funerals. Other tasks that are carried out by our team are naturalizations, state-law concerns, apostills and the state authority over the county stand offices. Registration tasks, such as the so-called PIK collection, but also integration and exit law funding round off the subject area. 34 people are currently employed in the specialist service.

Granting and Examination of Human Rights under the Residence Act (AufenthG) Issue, extension and examination of residence permits, dunnings and certificates of notification as asylum seekers (BüMA) Identification and handing out residence permits and travel passports for refugees including the authenticity of foreign identity documents Detection and assessment of cases of departure, alerts in SIS/INPOL and criminal complaints Working inquiries in cooperation with the Federal Agency for Labour Processing of unaccompanied minor seekers and notification of new-born seekers to the Federal Office Examination and advice on international and national return and reintegration programmes

a completed training for the administrative specialist or the successful completion of the employee training course I; or a completed training for/for tax-labour workers, social security specialists or specialist workers for labour market services; or a completed commercial training with at least two years of professional experience in a foreign national authority expert knowledge of German (competence level at least C1 according to the common European reference framework for languages) and beyond ideal Specialist knowledge in the field of residency law (AufenthG) and asylum law (AsylG) as well as on return and reintegration programmes a high degree of durability, flexibility and verdictability good communication and conflictability, customer and citizen orientation and a high degree of responsibility
