A day in the life You work at one of our locations during shift operation and make sure that the processes there are as productive as possible. Priority Your activity is the management and promotion of a safety culture and the maintenance of the quality and performance standards of the work layers. You also supervise the process improvements in your area and organize the implementation. A typical working day can look quite different and includes both routine team management and daily work tasks as well as process improvement and extensive operational tasks for the eventual case. You also act as a role model and mentor for new managers:inside.

About the team Amazon Extra Large (AMXL) is responsible for heavy or bulky items such as furniture and large household appliances. Our team is responsible for the entire service from procurement to delivery to product returns. The extended customer service distinguishes this service from the others. In addition to the delivery of bulk material, we also carry out the unpacking, assembly and installation of the new goods and take care of the removal of the old equipment on request. Our focus is on security, productivity and innovation. We ensure that customers can buy and receive bulky articles more easily and conveniently.

We have ambitious plans, including the expansion of our network of special logistics and distribution centres throughout the UK and Europe. Our colleagues at the logistics locations occasionally work in the night shift. Most of our team members work during the day. Our team includes employees from the fields of business management, supply chain, supply chain, business intelligence and program management. We all play a decisive role in developing this part of our company.

Degree of study Management experience Relevant experience in communication with different stakeholders, including colleagues and executives Relevant experience in using data or anecdotal evidence to justify business decisions Advanced English and German knowledge in Word and Writing Preferred qualifications Experience in working with Lean, Six-Sigma and Kaizen methods Experience with work in another logistics environment Experience in working with the MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) in a professional environment
