Head of Banking (d/w/m)

As Head of Banking, you are responsible for all the issues that concern our banks. This includes partner management, commercials, bank-specific KPIs, credit lending processes and parts of product management. You are the central contact for the partner site as well as internally for our C-level and the various departments. You take over the disciplinary and professional leadership for the banking team – together you control the offer page for our credit comparison. You conduct strategic and commercial negotiations with our partner banks. You expand our and your network in the banking world. You go into exchange and build trusting relationships. At the same time, you can also make difficult conversations as you need. You are responsible for the further development of our loan offer. You know the German financial and credit market very well, follow relevant developments and identify opportunities for additional banking products. The operational implementation is carried out together with your team. You're looking at KPIs and performance, taking measures for banking control and developing new models in terms of revenue and business development. You work closely with our CEO and C level.

You have a strong commercial understanding and can safely arrange KPIs, business cases and repentue relationships. You bring relevant professional experience and success in banking context. You have run similar positions in the banks / Fintech environment, business development or consulting. You ideally have a successfully completed business or comparable study or on other relevant qualifications. You have a very good negotiating skills. You recognize your counterpart's interests and motives, can read between the lines and think in long-term negotiation strategies instead of just in individual deals. You already have experience in employee management and have the pleasure of promoting and developing talents. You are a generalist with a high understanding: You work quickly into new and complex topics, can make well-founded decisions even in the case of incomplete information and prepare them for the C level with a clear recommendation. You're extroverted and a networker. You are present and strong in communication and enjoy building business relationships proactively through personal appointments, spontaneous conversations and direct exchange. You value a flexible way of working and bring the willingness to travel (e.g. for personal appointments with partner banks). You can master German at native language level and fluent English.
