Assistant physician or specialist in interventional radiology and neuroradiology (m/f/d)

For the General Hospital Celle (AKH) - Academic Teaching Hospital of the Hannover Medical School - we are looking for 01. October 2026 in full or part-time an assistant physician (m/w/d) or specialist (m/w/d) for the Clinic for Interventional Radiology and Neuroradiology.

The Clinic for Interventional Radiology and Neuroradiology ensures neuroradiological diagnostics for the District of Celle and for the adjacent clinics and counties. In cooperation with the Department of Radiology, we also ensure radiological care.

Our range of services includes the entire spectrum of diagnostic neuroradiology as well as interventional and neurointerventional procedures. In addition to interventional stroke therapy, these include endovascular treatment of neurovascular diseases as well as vascular, non-vascular and oncological interventions (corresponding to the DeGIR/DGNR modules A–F) in cooperation with the associated clinics of the AKH.

Patients with acute stroke are supplied in cooperation with our supraregional Stroke Unit. Complex neurovascular diseases are treated in close cooperation with our clinical colleagues in the AKH neurology and neurosurgery with the spectrum of a maximum provider.

Our clinic, run in the collegial system, has two own angiography systems (1 x biplan and 1 x monoplan as hybrid OP, renewal in 2026/27), two computer tomographs (2025 renewed), two MRT devices (1.5 T and 3 T, 2026 renewed) and several own ultrasound devices. This covers the entire spectrum of modern neuroradiological/radiological diagnostics. A training authorization for radiology (60 months) is available together with the Department of Radiology. You are assistant physician for radiology with German approval; desirable, but no requirement are knowledge and skills in interventional (Neuro) radiology You have German skills in C1 level or are native speakers You are ready to participate in the diagnostic standby service or in perspective in interventional readiness. You are happy to handle patients You are characterized by team spirit and commitment
