In the 2-year training to the seller or the 3-year training to the merchant / to the merchant in the retail trade, you learn how the processes in the retail trade work: from ordering the goods through the entrance, presentation and storage of the goods to the sale and sales promotion measures. Among other things, you expect these tasks:

• acceptance of goods

• Clean goods and presentation of goods

• Fresh control in the fruit and vegetables sector

• Ensure availability of our baked goods

• Cash registers and depreciation

• Ensuring order and cleanliness in the branch

Depending on the tariff area, you work between 37 and 39 hours/week including professional training periods. The vocational school will be near your place of residence.

• A school degree (qualifying primary school certificate or medium maturity)
