Enterprise Architect (m/f/d)

Development, maintenance and communication of an enterprise architecture vision incl. Conducting technological target images, platform and capability roadmaps is one of your main tasks. You are responsible for our system-of-systems architectures, interoperability and cross-dominal integration capability. Building, further development and governance of a MBSE approach (including SysML v2, model guidelines, repositories and digital thread) is also part of your tasks. You control the architecture governance incl. Architecture boards, reviews and technical compliance checks. In addition, you will ensure safety, security, certification and regulatory requirements as architectural guides. You evaluate and manage technical debt as well as provide clear architectural guidelines to promote reuse, platforming and technical flow. You will advise on strategic initiatives (Make-or-Buy, technology selection, toolchain integration, platform decisions). You moderate technical decision-making processes and coach other architects: across different domains.

You have a successfully completed study of natural or engineering sciences or a comparable degree. You have a qualification in the field of “Systems Engineering” (e.g. INCOSE, SEP, MBSE) You bring many years of practical experience in an architectural role (EA, Lead Architect, Senior Architect) in the complex system or defence environment. Excellent handling of architecture frameworks and modeling methods (TOGAF, NAF/DoDAF, ArchiMate, INCOSE SEBoK, SAFe, SysML v1/v2). Very good knowledge of systems of systems, interoperability, interface standardization and integration architectures. Deep understanding of the engineering processes according to ISO 15288, Safety (e.g. IEC 61508), Security (e.g. IEC 62443) and certification requirements. Experience in digital thread, toolchain integration, architecture modeling as well as model-based analysis and testing methods. You have a strong system of thinking and high communication, moderation and conflict resolution capabilities. You bring the ability to change between strategic perspective and operational realities in engineering. You have very good knowledge of German and English in word and writing.
