Strategic Buyer (m/w/d)

As a family-run foundation company with around 1,200 employees worldwide, we develop and manufacture sensor technology for the mechanical engineering and vehicle systems for the commercial vehicle industry. Our quality products are characterized by a very high production depth and are manufactured climate-neutral in the Allgäu. What awaits you As a strategic buyer, you develop and shape long-term partnerships with existing and selected suppliers identified by you

In your diverse task, you carry out tendering processes, collect corresponding offers before contracting, set up negotiation strategies, conduct price negotiations, and develop procurement alternatives

You contribute to the continuous optimization of strategies, processes and value chains. The quality, risk, sustainability and cost aspects are always in focus

You meet Make-or-Buy decisions for individual or complete orders, including all the participating areas

Trends on the relevant procurement markets you follow attentively and implement resulting measures

You work closely with your colleagues from a wide range of areas and let your shopping and supplier know-how flow into our projects

What you bring You have a technical training or completed business/technical studies or a comparable qualification

Ideally, in recent years you have been able to realize yourself in a similar task and gain experience in purchasing in different product groups

You have well-founded, practical negotiation experience with domestic and foreign suppliers

You already have experiences in handling ERP systems (e.g. SAP) and handling MS-Office is of course for you

A secure, convincing occurrence paired with a pronounced organizational capability and high self-initiative completes your profile

In German and English, you are sure to speak and write
