The Evangelical Children's and Youth House gGmbH is a youth aid facility of the Gelsenkirchen and Wattenscheid diaconia plant with differentiated stationary and outpatient offers in Bochum and Gelsenkirchen. The Evangelische Kinder- und Jugendhaus gGmbH is looking for new heroes for the 5-day group in Bochum-Wattenscheid. Your mission: Our institution is not only a shelter, but also a real adventure playground for life – here grow, learn and breathe children who live with us under the week and return to their families on weekends. Together with your team, you’ll help the kids as a sidekick, support their families and help pave the way back to family life. You are part of a crew of superheroes from different disciplines that keeps together, supports each other and provides a community feeling.

You are a daily adventure companion for the kids and their families. You use real super skills: structure, orientation, fun, social competence and learning motivation. You strengthen parents in their educational role – with feeling and attitude. You accompany the authorities jungle to doctor and shoulder mines. You conduct development talks with children, families and youth offices. You participate in heroic team missions, conferences and help planning.

Completed training as an educator, social worker*in or comparable Experience in the Children's and Youth Help Unit Superpowers for your team: exchange, ownership, collaboration, creativity, team spirit and desire for diversity readiness for shift services and responsibility Class B & clean advanced guidance certificate Hepatitis A+B and Masernschutzvaccination
