Naval Architect (m/w/d)

Our client is an innovative medium-sized company based in Germany that specialises in demanding technical solutions in the field of shipping. The focus is on a system solution for ports across Europe – a market with enormous potential and increasing demand for efficient infrastructure and energy technology.

A special focus is on the development of mobile landflow solutions, in which battery storage systems and maritime infrastructure technologies are combined in an innovative way. In this future-oriented environment, a shipbuilding engineer (m/w/d) is sought at the next possible time, which would like to make an active contribution to the energy transition in the port economy with technical expertise and conceptual skills. In this versatile position, you take over the development, design and construction of battery bars for mobile power supply in the maritime environment, partly independently, in cooperation with an external engineering office. In detail, the following activities are expected: Development, design and construction of battery cages (new constructions and conversion and upgrades) Accompanying acquisitions of existing pontoons and bargains Construction monitoring and technical support in the course of new and new construction projects Ensuring compliance with deadline, cost and quality requirements Shipbuilding support for special projects in the maritime energy industry

They have a well-founded training and ideally bring experience from the naval or maritime environment. In addition, you are characterized by a structured way of working, interdisciplinary thinking and a high degree of self-responsibility. In detail we expect: Completed studies (Bachelor or Master) in the field of shipbuilding or a comparable qualification Practical experience in shipbuilding or technical environment Electrotechnical understanding desirable Advantageous knowledge of the regulatory environment (e.g. certification requirements) Very good knowledge of German and English in word and writing Self-employed, solution-oriented and team-ready work
