Head of Maintenance - Plastics / Blow Molding Technology (m/f/d)

In Germany, the focus of business is on the production, distribution and reconditioning of packaging systems made of steel and plastic. IBC (Intermediate Bulk Container) is produced and reconditioned at the Mendig site with about 100 employees.

You take over the overall responsibility for the technical and disciplinary management of the maintenance department and develop your team in a targeted manner. You are responsible for the maximum technical availability of our blow molding and extrusion systems by systematically analyzing malfunctions and minimizing downtime. You develop and implement modern maintenance strategies and use methods such as TPM and Lean Maintenance. As a driving force for the continuous improvement process (KVP), you opt for plant efficiency and ensure compliance with all quality and safety standards. You plan and control independently maintenance and investment projects and work closely with the interfaces of production, quality assurance and technology.

You have completed technical training or studies (e.g. mechanical engineering, electrical engineering) and several years of experience in the maintenance of a manufacturing company. You bring experience in the leadership of teams and work structured, solution-oriented and independent. You have knowledge of methods such as TPM, lean maintenance and continuous improvement processes. You have specific experience with extrusion systems as well as blow molding systems and blow molding technology. A high technical affinity and a pronounced organizational skill are yours. You speak fluent German (C1) to ensure smooth communication in the team and with partners.
