Trainee Credit – Corporate Clients (m/f/d)

In the field of credit, we focus on the support of SMEs and large companies in Germany. We do this together with the Volksbanken and Raiffeisenbanken. The credit business is of central importance for our house and is also reflected in the size of the area with more than 500 employees. We attach particular importance to the high-quality management of our credit risks. In addition to increasing regulatory requirements, the optimization and digitization of our processes plays an important role. At the same time, industry trends require a continuous review of our credit processes. With its competence centers, the Department of Credit – corporate customers, which will focus on your trainee program, covers the automotive, chemical, pharmaceutical, agricultural and nutrition sectors. In addition, the regional credit centre is responsible for the joint lending business with Volks- und Raiffeisenbanken in North and Northeast Germany. We look forward to your cooperation and your impulses for shaping our credit business. In your 12-month trainee program with an individual throughput plan, you will be working in the various units of the Loan – company customers department. The location of your activity is Hanover. In addition, you have the possibility to hospitate in different interface units, also across locations.

You have a successfully completed master's degree in full time (2.5 or better), preferably in the fields of business, economics or business law. Your Master's degree will be short at the time of your application or will not be longer than 12 months. Ideally, you will bring first experience from internships, a work student activity or a training in a bank in the area of credit and/or corporate customer business, so that you can quickly develop from a good base and enter the daily business. You have a strong analytical competence. This helps you structure complex problems and objectively identify and evaluate opportunities and risks. You're constantly eager to develop. You give new impulses, are open to examining and accepting new things, and share knowledge in order to actively advance the area of credit. You are strong in communication in German (at least C1 level) and English (at least B2 level), in writing as oral, in order to represent your opinion towards team members and superiors eloquently, securely and according to target groups.

Perspective: You start with an unlimited contract and a salary of EUR 71,000 during and EUR 77,000 according to the trainee program.
