As an employee/employer (w/m/d) in the ''Digital Service Quality'' group, you develop the architectural guidelines for the digital transformation of one of Germany's central security authorities. You combine strategic thinking with technical depth and translate complex future issues into sustainable architectural decisions. Together with specialist areas, infrastructure and development teams, you develop target images and reference architectures for cloud, network and software landscapes, creating the basis for modern and resilient IT. As part of a dynamic team, you accompany their implementation in scalable, safe and cost-efficient solutions. In doing so, you shape decision-making and standards, such as building hybrid cloud structures, modernising data centers, migration of legacy systems, and automation and security. Establishing infrastructural standards and target images, in particular in the infrastructure/applications interface (e.g. API management and associated API gateway structures) and associated migration scenarios Design of cloud-native or hybrid infrastructure Optimization of technical architectures with regard to scaling, performance and costs Consultation and/or participation as a solution architect in strategic transformation projects with direct influence on the future IT landscape (e.g. building and modernising data centers, designing a multi-cloud landscape and integration architecture) Assessment of new technologies and translation into sustainable architecture decisions Design and user-centric preparation of standards and documentation, in particular in the field of architecture

completed university studies (Diplom [FH] or Bachelor) from the STEM area with an IT share and a subsequent at least three-year relevant professional experience in a corresponding profession or the corresponding comparable skills and experience, but at least a completed vocational training with a demonstrable IT orientation and in addition a subsequent at least six years of professional experience in a corresponding profession

On top You have extensive experience in the planning, construction and operation of IT infrastructures, ideally also cloud infrastructures You have technical knowledge in the field of current hyperscaler technologies and other technical infrastructure elements, such as network protection – ideally practical experience as system or DevOps engineers You have knowledge and experience in the BSI-IT basic protection and its practical application You take responsibility, question existing solutions and proactively promote technical topics Good cooperation and team-oriented action are of course for you.
