Technical Classifier (m/w/d) for IT and Defense Equipment

As part of the Legal & Compliance Organisation of HENSOLDT AG, the “Export Compliance” area ensures compliance with laws and regulations as part of the export control of goods. We are looking for this area, preferably at the Taufkirchen site near Munich, at the next possible time

You carry out the technical evaluation of goods, software and technology based on national and international export control regulations and product lists. You primarily judge arms and dual-use goods In addition to German and European law, you take into account the US export control law (EAR and ITAR) and other international export control regulations (e.g. UK and ZA) at your work You maintain the gradations made including the underlying argumentation / documentation in our goods management system You act as main contact partners in the clarification of technical questions and classifications with the competent authority You advise across departments on research, development, and sales projects on export control issues and to identify projects subject to authorisation in cooperation with internal lawyers You support the development and maintenance of business processes with export control relevance Support for internal and external audits and external audits

You have completed a degree in engineering, computer science, physics or comparable training You can already present a few years of professional experience You have a very good technical understanding, a structured way of working and have a high understanding of how to deal with complex issues. It draws a high level of quality awareness and care at work You provide the willingness to interpret legal texts (also English) for technical evaluations in the sense of export control. Ideally, you have already had first contact points for export control, in particular product classification Secure handling of MS-Office and SAP (required) Very good knowledge of German and good English in word and writing Enforcement, communication strength to internal and external contacts and joy in team collaboration
