Come to the KVHS team!

We are looking for a social pedagogical accompaniment for the work opportunity (AGH) with “heart and hand” within 20 hours of week at the next possible time.

A combination with other parts within the KVHS is possible in principle.

The new AGH “With heart and hand” offers people a structured daily design and practical training opportunities. The aim is to promote labour market competences, to develop professional perspectives and to strengthen personal stability. The participants will be guided in projects directly on site as well as in external operations and will gain practical experience in cooperation and in direct exchange with different groups of persons. The work area combines creativity, sustainability and craftsmanship – especially in the area of garden and upcycling and offers space for integration and interaction with other people.

The Kreisvolkshochschule Wesermarsch GmbH (KVHS) is a non-profit company in adult education, with the order to offer educational opportunities throughout the country. As a company of the Wesermarsch County, KVHS has grown steadily in recent years and has become an important medium-sized service company in the field of education. In addition to the provision of the “classical VHS offer”, KVHS is a service provider in the field of education for different clients, including training offers in the context of professional, linguistic and social integration. In the meantime, KVHS is the largest extracurricular educational provider in the Wesermarsch with around 80 employees and more than 400 lecturers. This broad educational mandate, which includes a very high proportion of consulting and coaching offers, addresses various target groups, from young people to adults.

The place includes:

• Social pedagogical advice and support for participants

• Implementation of individual and possibly group talks

• Development of individual support and integration plans

• Support for the stabilisation of personal situations

• Crisis intervention and conflict management

• Support for application processes and professional orientation

• Cooperation with Jobcenter, network partners and cooperation companies

• Close coordination with the manager in the work area

• Documentation of Participating Development and Reporting

• Organisational tasks and participation in public relations

Your profile:

• Complete study of social education / social work or comparable qualification or multiannual experience in the social education accompaniment of people

• experience in working with people remote from the labour market or in need of assistance desirable

• Knowledge on labour market integration

• Structured and independent operation

• Safe handling of common computer applications

• driving licence required; regional knowledge desirable
