In the Backnanger workshops (BKW), we employ, care and promote people with disabilities to enable them to participate in working life and community. You design the daily routine, provide orientation and create an atmosphere in which our clients feel safe and valued with mental disabilities, physical disabilities and the autism spectrum. You support people with high assistance needs and promote their personal development You plan and conduct targeted offers to promote motor, social and cognitive skills (e.g. creative design, movement or life-structural exercises) You take care of the necessary basic care and assistance in meals while respecting the dignity of clients You create individual participation and action plans or implement the measures provided by the power provider You create an attractive and structured working environment that meets the special needs of people with autism (e.g. through visualizations according to the TEACCH approach) and other special needs You use methods of supported communication to strengthen participation and self-determination A team of 15 employees Regular working hours in a 5-day week, without shiftwork

A completed pedagogical training, ideally as a curative nurse, curative teacher or work educator (m/w/d) or a comparable qualification as a pedagogue.
