In this role, you take a key role at the interface between sustainability, regulation and operational implementation. You evaluate, plan and implement environmental and product requirements – particularly in the context of the PPWR (Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation) – the planned EU Packaging Regulation, which is intended to replace the previous Packaging Directive) and WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment Directive - the EU Directive on Electrical and Electronic Equipment). You work closely with internal departments and external partners, drive compliance processes and develop sustainable solutions that strengthen our company in the long term. Take your own ideas, communicate clearly and confidently and deal responsibly with sensitive information. You can travel approx. 50% of our European production sites – with increasing experience this share is significantly reduced.

Your responsibility Analysis of products, processes and packaging systems with regard to PPWR requirements Implementation of GAP analyses for PPWR and derivation of concrete compliance measures Creation and Priority of Implementation Plans and Accompanying Implementation Assessment of the current WEEE Compliance status and implementation of structured CAP analyses Definition and planning of the necessary steps to achieve the WEEE conformity Coordination, support and monitoring of implementation progress Support in the safe packaging of chemicals and sensitive devices introduction of hazardous goods know how (e.g. ADR, IATA, IMDG) for safe packaging and transport

A completed study in the field of Environmental Engineering, Environmental Technology or Sustainability Management, ideally focusing on logistics, as the role is strongly linked to the packaging of chemicals or a completed vocational training in the logistics sector (e.g. specialist in warehouse logistics, industrial businessman/wife with focus on logistics, etc.) Understanding relevant EU regulations, in particular PPWR and WEEE Experience in the analysis of complex regulatory requirements and their translation into operational processes Expertise in the safe packaging of chemicals and/or sensitive technical devices Knowledge in the field (travel )Logistics Convincing, addressable and motivating communication readiness to travel regularly within Europe Very good knowledge of English; German or other European languages are a plus
