Information Security Specialist (m/f/d)

You develop and control technical safety requirements and concepts for securing our IT systems and accompany their implementation in close coordination with the operational IT areas. You recognise risks at an early stage – you analyze risks, vulnerabilities and security incidents and take targeted measures to mitigate risk and to improve sustainable development. For sustainable security, you define requirements for hardening, patch management, access controls (IAM), encryption, logging & monitoring and verify compliance. For transparency about assets and dependencies, you support building and developing a structured asset management including protection requirements and classification approaches. You accompany IT from security sight – you define security requirements, perform architecture and security reviews, and make sure that security by design is implemented. You connect smartly – you act as an interface between ISMS and IT and translate regulatory requirements into practical requirements. You prepare audits and also carry out them – you can participate in the operation and further development of the ISMS, in particular in the context of risk analysis, action management and audit preparation (ISO 27001 / NIS2). You think information security in projects - you actively contribute your knowledge to cross-departmental projects and make sure that security aspects are taken into account from the outset.

You bring expertise with depth – you have successfully completed a study in the field of (economic) informatics, IT security or a comparable qualification, as well as 3-5 years of information security experience. You have experience in information security – you are well aware of management systems, risk analysis, emergency management and security incidents. Technical understanding with conceptual view – You know typical security measures (e.g. network, systems, IAM, logging) not only theoretically, but can evaluate them and translate them into requirements. You know the standards – you have knowledge of relevant standards and regulations such as ISO 27001, NIS2 or BSI basic protection. You are certified – Ideally you have a qualification as ISMS Manager, Information Security Officer or Auditor. Experience in analysis and evaluation – you have experience in vulnerability analysis, risk analysis, security reviews or incident evaluation. You work in a controlling manner instead of operating – you feel comfortable in a role in which you define requirements, evaluate measures and accompany their implementation without working even in operating operations. Analytical and structured – you recognize relationships between systems, risks and measures and are targeted. You communicate safely at all levels – you bring complex content to the point – in German and in English. You are a team player with self-drive – you like to work in the team, take responsibility and drive themes proactively.
