Our anaesthesia department supplies outpatient and stationary patients to the operating departments. Around 4,000 general and regional anaesthesia are carried out annually in four OP rooms. Regional anesthesiological processes have a high priority. Acquisition of the necessary theoretical and practical skills is supported and encouraged by the clinic. Our perioperative pain therapy, accompanied by Pain Nurses, was certified as part of “Certcom – Qualified Pain Therapy”. We participate in the pain network QUIPS. As a center for childbirth aid with the connection of a paediatric station, on which neonatological diseases are also treated, our department is responsible for the peripartal anaesthesiological care of pregnant women in the Kreißsaal. We provide analysing for functional departments and radiology on a daily basis.
