The Zeiss SMT is looking for a segment manager Industrial Engineering (m/w/x) in the area of DUV integration at the Oberkochen site. Do you find yourself in the following description? We look forward to your application! You conduct the Engineering Integration DUV segment independently within the Carl Zeiss SMT GmbH and lead employees in the indirect sector

For different DUV products, they are responsible for engineering tasks in the field, including: 1st level support of complex production machines and processes and the continuous improvement of process capability

actively shaping the development process of new products from the perspective of integration to serial suitability

the coordination and cooperation of all relevant interfaces

actively promote the technology and production roadmap and the selection and introduction of new production technologies

in industrial engineering design the production value flow and corresponding process capability and continuously improve

by your strong leadership personality, you will develop your team and make sure that the ZEISS leadership principles are lived in your organization

They ensure the further development of your area to the construction of new product lines, the use of innovative production processes, the design of an efficient organization and its continuous improvement.

You have successfully completed university studies in a natural or engineering environment (e.g. Physics - Master, Doctorate preferred)

They have more than 5 years of relevant professional experience, including the management of teams from engineers in the R&D or production environment

They have proven knowledge and experience in the successful design of a production or production-related areas from the perspective of an industrial engineering

You have knowledge of development and production processes of opto-mechatronic components and systems (preferably semiconductor industry)

You have carried out major projects in R&D or manufacturing environment

They have appropriate knowledge of manufacturing processes, value flow management, CVP, PGP, development processes and interface management of opto-mechatronic components or machines

You have already been able to prove strategic and entrepreneurial action through your management skills and to gain acceptance with international partners and customers

You are fluent in German and English in word and writing
