Your tasks include: Provision, support and optimization of scientific and technical software on Linux-based HPC systems and scientific advice from researchers for the efficient use of parallel applications. Management & further development of license quotas and license manager-based processes for commercial scientific software in the HPC environment. Analysis and solution of complex problems in operation and use of scientific software. Installation, porting and evaluation of scientific software on novel computer architectures (e.g. ARM-based systems, GPU-accelerated platforms). Analysis of the use of HPC systems and scientific software, development and maintenance of central statistics and evaluation structures, as well as linking with scientific computing projects for the need-oriented planning of software licenses and further development of HPC services. Supporting the review process for scientific data-time quotas and participation in the further development of user support processes and services.
