As a primary digitization partner of the Bundeswehr, we provide stable, safe and efficient IT services in Germany and abroad, from basic operations to the field close to the application and thus contribute to the continuous increase in the leadership and operational capacity of the Bundeswehr. With over 7,700 colleagues, we operate and modernise one of the largest and most complex IT infrastructures in Germany. DevSecOps Engineer - Full Managed Cloud Stack (m/w/d) from now on and in full time in Bonn, Berlin or Munich, alternatively nationwide at one of our BWI locations. The Cloud Operation Hub is our central hub for modern cloud solutions. As an enabler and integrator, we design secure, powerful and forward-looking cloud environments for the Bundeswehr and Bund. We create the technical foundations for digital sovereignty, automation and resilience in complex IT landscapes. Our goal: make cloud innovations usable – safe, scalable and sustainable.

Construction, installation and operation of Google Distributed Cloud air-gapped (GDC-A) instances 1st and 2nd level support incl. Standby service Coordination and Monitoring of Disruption Measures and Break Fix Activities in the Data Centre Implementation of architectural adaptations according to the requirements of IT security, the customer and the architectural body Close cooperation with the manufacturer and participation in future product development Continuous training in the GDC-A environment

Complete study of computer science or comparable training At least 7 years of professional experience in enterprise environments, preferably in the public sector Good know-how in the cloud environment (public or private) and work in data centers Funded knowledge in the administration of Linux and Kubernetes environments (certification of weekly value) Good knowledge of ISTIO, LAN and Server / Storage Hardware Knowledge with Grafana, Prometheus are beneficial Previous knowledge of GDC-A desirable German and English knowledge in word and writing
