For our Department of Handling Technology/Measuring Technology/Data Technology, we are looking for a

You carry out development tasks in the context of the design, introduction, extension and optimization of data-processing networks, database systems and universal interfaces. The development and implementation of database solutions as well as the integration of system interfaces between production, control and ERP systems are your responsibility. New data technology requirements are implemented by you through programming, database development and the introduction of standardized interfaces in the IoT environment. You harmonize data structures across locations and ensure consistent data traceability along the process chain. New interfaces, systems and technologies are put into operation, tested and evaluated for their suitability for the company-wide data concept. You analyse technical requirements, accompany the introduction of new DV technologies and drive their integration into the existing system landscape. Together with the departments, you develop sustainable digitalization solutions for process optimization and cost reduction. The analysis and further development of data-driven production and logistics processes, for example by using RFID technologies, are also part of your field of activity. IT security requirements and corporate standards are consistently taken into account and implemented in all projects. The cooperation in international project teams as well as the support in the planning and implementation of projects complete your area of responsibility.

You have a successfully completed degree in the field of computer science, business informatics, automation technology or a comparable qualification. Finding knowledge in the development and administration of databases as well as in the data modeling feature. Experiences in high-level languages such as C#, Python or Java will bring you. You have knowledge of industrial communication standards and Interface technologies, such as OPC UA, SQL, ETL processes or the ISO-OSI model. Ideally, you have already gained experience in connecting production facilities, PLC systems or ERP solutions. A strong understanding of digital process sequences, data integration and IT/OT system landscapes is what distinguishes you. You work analytically and solution-oriented and bring a high degree of self-initiative. Communication strength as well as the ability to cooperate in interdisciplinary and international teams round off your profile. Good knowledge of German and English in word and writing (min. B1 level) are assumed.
