Expert in open source security (m/f/d)

Head of complex open source and digitization projects. Initiation and control of studies, market analyses and safety assessments and deriving concrete requirements for safe systems. Design and testing of IT security architectures and security concepts. IT security technical advice from decision-makers on the security of open source. Creation of technical guidelines, protection profiles and strategic guidelines. Control and coordination of external IT service providers and technical audit. Representation in national and European working groups. Representation of the topic in the public, for example by lectures and specialist contributions.

A degree (Diplom [Uni]/ Master) of Computer Science (IT‐Safety/ Cyber Security, Technical Informatics, Software Engineering, Systems Engineering with a focus on IT systems, Data Science or Computer Science with a focus on software architecture) or business information technology with a focus on IT(‐Safety) or a comparable, relevant field of information technology. knowledge of IT security and security architectures including current threats and safeguards and/or Open source software and their development processes.

First experiences in evaluating or introducing open source solutions would be desirable. Ideally, you will also bring knowledge and understanding of the specific requirements of public administration (e.g. register modernisation), knowledge of safety standards and standards (e.g. basic IT protection), experience in the design and evaluation of complex IT systems and their protection, experience in managing or controlling IT projects with security and/or Experience in the development of IT security concepts, architectures or guidelines.
