In the Reliability department, we ensure at all stages of product development that all our systems at the end customer in 24/7 operation retain the highest precision required for many years. We are an interdisciplinary team of scientists:inside and engineer:in different disciplines. The “Process Assurance” group is responsible for the protection and processing and complex machines (e.g. equipment) incl. its technical reliability and represents project manager for post-development and security projects.

Responsibility Engineering and Technical Risk Management in a highly innovative research and development environment

Proactive contribution to sustainable project success through specialist expertise as a developer/system engineer and application of “design-for-reliability” concepts

Definition and coordination of activities to ensure the required reliability in cooperation with international customers and suppliers

Control and minimisation of the risk level by active networking and management of diverse interfaces

Supporting interdisciplinary teams in the cause analysis of customer complaints or field incidents and evaluating the impact on reliability

Implementation and management of workshops on process optimization and risk management

Cooperation with internal stakeholders to ensure the reliability of large measuring machines

Integration into a motivated team that focuses on challenges and is characterized by a high self-initiative

Possibility to explore special topics within a dynamic and popular department

Completion of a scientific or technical study, promotion of advantage

multiannual professional experience as a development or system engineer in an international high-tech research and development environment

profound methodological knowledge in the field of reliability engineering or process development, Six Sigma, FMEA and statistical methods

Experience in the field of “physics-of-failure” (e.g. damage mechanisms or degradation effects) and their modeling

Ready to work around 60% of working hours at the site
