As part of the Architecture Metrology Processes department, they are responsible for the measurement process development for the characterization of optical components and systems for manufacturing or qualification. The measuring process comprises the measuring system (including calibration devices), the environmental conditions of the measurement, the measuring sequence, the evaluation of the measurement data as well as their documentation or storage. Recording and deriving the system requirements from stakeholder analyses and coordination with the internal customer

Definition of cross-object architecture and cross-object budgeting of fault influences in the field of measurement process development with regard to performance, feasibility, timing, costs, risks and efficiency

Creation, coordination and review of technical documentation at system and subsystem level such as specifications, design descriptions, verification analyses or technical budgets

Coordination and implementation of trade-offs and architectural decisions for measurement process developments to balance performance, costs and timing

Preparation of strategic decisions such as make-or-buy, build-to-print / build-to-spec

Support and control of suppliers for technical implementation and validation/ verification of milestone reviews

Requirements for architectures of subsystems for cross-product or measuring technology harmonisation

You can present a very good technical or scientific degree, also with doctorate

They have at least 5 years of professional experience in a complex technical environment – ideally already in the field of the development of highly accurate optical measurement methods and systems or special machine construction

You have extensive experience in system engineering of complex systems (requirement management, system design optimization, system integration, risk management)

They are happy to work in new complex topics and are open to new solutions and innovations

They have fun at the lateral leadership of development teams, pass on their knowledge and experience and coaching their employees

They have strong analytical skills and follow pragmatic solution-oriented procedures

They have very good communication skills, a structured way of working, and the ability to prepare and present complex issues in a clear and structured manner.

They communicate in English and German in word and writing
