Become part of our innovative team in Sindelfingen and work directly on the development and testing of external components that significantly shape the iconic design of our upcoming Mercedes-Benz SUV models. From bumpers to radiator linings to radome and longitudinal beam linings – your work has a direct impact on the appearance and functionality of our vehicles. Immerse yourself in the world of vehicle development and take over tasks that you demand and promote: Prototype development: Active participation in the design and commissioning of rapid prototyping parts for concept testing and support in the construction and modernization of test vehicles Functional testing & analysis: Organisation and implementation of functional checks on vehicles and prototype series parts (e.g. by heat simulation) as well as the sound assessment and documentation of the test results Component tests: Monitoring and implementation of component tests, including detailed component assessment CAD concept: cooperation in the development of innovative connection and component concepts using the Siemens NX CAD system Competition analysis: implementation of benchmarks to stay at the heart of time and to set new impulses for our developments Project Management: Early takeover of responsibility for your own subprojects, where you can bring and implement your ideas The activity can begin from September 2026.

Ideally, you bring the following qualifications and characteristics: Academic background: You are enrolled in a course of engineering, a technical course with a deepening in general mechanical engineering, vehicle engineering, plastic engineering, construction or a comparable field of expertise Language knowledge: German and very good English skills in word and writing enable you to communicate smoothly in our international environment Digital competence: A safe handling of MS Office applications is of course for you Technical know-how: Knowledge in the CAD system Siemens NX (ideally version 10.0 or higher) are a big plus and make it easier for you to enter our projects Analytical Strength: A pronounced analytical and conceptual way of thinking helps you quickly capture complex facts and develop innovative solutions Communication and team skills: You are a real team player that actively engages, enjoys dealing with people and builds bridges through your strong contact and communication skills Proactive mode of operation: High commitment, strong self-motivation and a structured self-organization are your key features.
