Buyer for castings and forgings (m/f/d)

You are responsible for requirements for casting and forging parts in various material grades as well as steel constructions You are responsible for the procurement of raw parts and machined components based on our production drawing You are actively integrated into our collaboration with our Global Supply Chain and optimise Intercompany Business You are responsible for ordering, order confirmations and appointment coordination By optimally designing your subcontracting processes, you will ensure the best possible fulfillment of the purchasing requirements As part of this task, you will optimize the procurement strategy to meet the timing, compliance with the purchasing budget and quality standards You compile supplier comparisons as a basis for deciding on their selection and operate active risk management in value-based procurement projects You regularly conduct supplier talks and supplier reviews in the context of supplier management Independent contract monitoring and settlement of contract failures

You have a professional training with a multiannual professional experience or a techn. Completion or a comparable qualification and have already gained several years of professional experience in the materials industry in plant and mechanical engineering or comparable environment Effortlessly judge technical drawings and derive the necessary knowledge for purchasing You understand, through your strong communication talent, to produce sustainable results in negotiations and to convince external suppliers of themselves You possess analytical skill, which is supplemented by a pragmatic approach and a good enforcement capability You are used to work independently and result-oriented, but also convince by your team skills The handling of ERP systems (preferably proAlpha) is not strange to you You have English skills in word and writing
