The Vivantes Klinikum Kaulsdorf is a clinic for basic and regular care and part of the Vivantes Network for Health as well as the Academic Teaching Hospital of Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin. The Klinikum Kaulsdorf has 473 beds in 9 departments and an interdisciplinary central emergency room. It supplies 30,000 rescue center patients and approx. 14,000 patients in a stationary year. Visceral Surgery provides 2.100 patients per year in the occupied area. In addition, more than 800 children are born annually in the Klinikum Kaulsdorf.

The General and Visceral Surgery Clinic covers a wide range of visceral surgery and is integrated into one of the largest tumor centers in the capital - Oncological Center Mitte. We place particular emphasis on the application of minimally invasive technology in the context of colorectal surgery, operations of gallbladder, hernia, inflammatory bowel diseases and proctology.
