About us Would you like to help shape the future of modern float glass technologies and be responsible for complex technical projects from idea to implementation? In this key role you connect technology, production and project management. You drive improvements along the entire process chain and make an important contribution to the technological development of our float glass production. Your duties Conducting and implementing technical projects along the float glass process chain from concept phase to successful implementation in production Analysis and optimization of production and technology processes for the sustainable improvement of quality, efficiency and plant performance Technological support of production areas in the evaluation, planning and implementation of technical measures Coordination of cooperation between production, technology, engineering, purchasing and internal and external project partners Planning and control of project budgets, resources and dates as well as ensuring the achievement of defined project objectives Accompanying the introduction of new technologies, plants and processes and supporting their sustainable integration into existing production processes Development and development of technological know-how in the field of float glass and the promotion of technical knowledge exchange within the organization Cooperation with strategic technology and investment projects for the long-term development of float glass production Your profile Complete study of process engineering, materials engineering, chemical engineering or a comparable subject Experience in technical project management and successful implementation of technical projects Knowledge of production, process or plant technologies Very good knowledge of German and English in word and writing Analytical, structured and solution-oriented mode of operation Joy in cooperation with different disciplines and stakeholders Experience in the glass, material, chemical, fireproof, steel or comparable process industry is welcome Knowledge of float glass technology, international project work and process optimization methods are a plus Your Benefit As open as SCHOTT is for your further development, our offer of additional benefits is as extensive.
