Senior Accounting & Reporting Manager – IFRS / HGB Partial home office (m/f/d)

In your role, you will ensure the correct, complete and timely financial reporting of the supervised plants & locations and thus contribute significantly to transparency, manageability and compliance in finance. In detail, you are responsible for the timely creation of the monthly and annual accounts according to Group-IFRS, local HGB standards as well as legal and regulatory requirements. In addition, you ensure compliance with all tax and regulatory provisions, including (sales) tax returns, wage and salary bills as well as other legal notifications. Reliable check balance sheet items created by shared services for completeness and accuracy, accompany valuation and delimitation bookings and support in the clarification of open items. As a central interface, you coordinate between shared services and the local business areas, process escalations as part of financial transactions and advise on financial ad hoc issues. Last but not least, ensure compliance with the internal control framework and support initiatives for continuous process improvement.

completed commercial training with a well-founded practical experience in accounting and further qualification as an accounting book holder, alternatively an economic study with a corresponding focus Multiannual professional practice in accounting, in particular in the management of final, reporting and audit activities – preferably in manufacturing or in a similar industry with diversified yield flows Found background in the creation of annual accounts, sales tax and corporate tax returns with reliable insights into the processes and guidelines in accounting and finance Experience in the introduction of SAP applications and digitalization tools Knowledge of the application of accounting standards (IFRS, HGB) and the assessment and maintenance of standard cost accounting The ability to cope with multiple tasks simultaneously, even under time pressure, while delivering accurate results Routine in MS Office (especially Excel), SAP FI/CO and Financial Management Software (JD Edwards) as well as fluent knowledge in English in Word and Writing The readiness of the regular presence of the works Mülheim and Borken (min. 2 days/week) and individual service trips to Poland
