The Stiftung Nieder-Ramstädter Diakonie (NRD) has been supporting people for 125 years. The “Children, Youth and Family” division of the Nieder-Ramstädter Diakonie combines offers of integration aid and youth assistance under one roof. This allows us to provide individual and needs-oriented support for children, young people and their families.

Senior Caregiver (m/w/d) - Projektmanagement für Kinder und Jugend

New concept, new team, new opportunities – we start with fresh wind and offer the opportunity to help shape a residential project from the start and to open up real prospects for people.

With the “Buntes Haus” residential group, a unique residential project for children and young people is being created in the residential community of Darmstadt. In a modern, barrier-free house with roof terrace, spacious common areas and lots of greenery, we create protected habitats that promote participation and personal development. A WG is planned for five children and adolescents, as well as an intensive educational area with four living places.

How your night looks in the living area

• Support with empathy, tranquility and empathy During the evening/night hours (from about 21:00 to 07:00) our residents will arrive in their new home
• At regular intervals, you will see if everything is okay and provide the physical and emotional well-being of children and adolescents as needed
• Our night owls provide you with an open ear for an exchange and help them to find peace
• For the best possible fulfillment of the needs of the children and young people, work in close cooperation with the colleagues who support you in your work

• You have an education for the educator, youth and home educatorin, social pedagogue, educator or nursein or a study of social work, social education (m/w/d) or a comparable qualification successfully completed
• Ideally, first experience in youth or integration aid and with challenging behaviour of children and young people
• Interest in working with children and adolescents with special life topics and / or impairments
• They act solution-oriented, creative and can inspire others
• They enter the team constructively and act cooperatively and coordinated
