Number: MER0003WXX At the headquarters of the Mercedes-Benz Design, the Design Studio at the Mercedes-Benz Technology Center in Sindelfingen, we create the automotive generations of the future. In close cooperation with Group Research & Development, we form the products that will secure our leadership in design and technology in the future. Our team “Studio engineering and project management design brands” ensures the technical feasibility of the design of future VAN and smart vehicles and controls the respective design projects. We work closely connected with designers, models and development areas. As part of their internship, You become part of our versatile, agile team and actively support us in our daily challenges in this exciting product development phase. These challenges include: Participation in design-technique convergence Conducting technical studies to secure partial sizes of design models Concept development and constructive concept development in Siemens NX Implementation of internal and external product analyses Showing target conflicts Preparation of decision documents Technical support of the design process by personal exchange with relevant structures Creation and maintenance of schedules Controlling the project progress and showing early target deviations to ensure milestone achievement The activity can begin from March 2026.

Course in the field of automotive engineering, mechanical engineering, vehicle/product development or a comparable degree programme Routinized handling of common Microsoft Office applications Funded CAD knowledge in handling Siemens NX Good knowledge of vehicle technology related to the entire vehicle Secure knowledge of German and English in word and writing Experience with 3D visualization and modeling software (e.g. Autodesk Alias, VRED, ICEM-Surf and Blender) is advantageous Knowledge in handling creative software (e.g. Adobe Photoshop / Illustrator) is advantageous Experience in project management Engagement, team skills and creativity Analytical, strategic and innovation-oriented thinking and action enthusiasm for automotive design and technology and Mercedes-Benz AG products Additional information: We are looking forward to your online application with CV, lettering, certificates, current enrollment certificate with a specification of the semester, if necessary.
