To strengthen our team we are looking for you as:

for the Ev. Kinderhaus Sonnenhügel in Weimar with 30 to 35 hours a week at the next possible time, first fixed for 1 year.

Our children's house is located in the northern part of the city of Weimar. In spacious rooms with protected children's playgrounds and separate rooms for role-playing, music and gymnastics, we serve up to 100 children from the end of the maternity protection to the school introduction. The children's house has a large, wonderful natural garden for tobogganing, climbing and discovering. Wooden houses, hills, hedges for hiding and various climbing stands invite the children to play creatively and at the same time promote the development of the senses.

What tasks do you expect:

• responsible planning, preparation and implementation of pedagogical work according to the conception and needs of children
• regular and systematic observation and assessment of the development of children
• regular talks with parents about the development of the child
• technical advice and explanation of educational work.
• Organization of events with and for parents (e.g. parents' nights)
• comprehensive integration and collegial support

What do we want from you:

• a degree recognised as a state-of-the-art educator or medical teacher or other equivalent degree
• Team skills
• the ability to conceptual pedagogical thinking and action in everyday working life and the implementation of Christian education
• a warm, sensitive and understanding nature for the sensitive handling of children from 1 year to school entrance
• Member in a Christian church after ACK or the willingness to carry our diaconic profile
• Openness in contact with parents and employees
