We operate the MobiData BW mobility data platform on behalf of Baden-Württemberg – the nationwide access point for mobility data. Together we develop powerful digital infrastructures and innovative data services for the mobility of the future.

As a DevOps architect (m/w/d), you play a key role at the interface between software development and IT operation. You design modern operating platforms, automate processes and develop the hybrid IT infrastructure of MobiData BW operationally and strategically.

Your main tasks:

Automation and Development of IT Infrastructure for Software and Hardware in the Team Mobility Data & Innovation Enable efficient software development as an interface between Developer team and IT operation by building and establishing DevOps structures Backend review of MobiData BW software solutions and further development of software architectures Assessment of requirements for the operation and hosting of new services and software solutions Control of IT service providers to operate the IT infrastructure IT system administration of the hybrid IT infrastructure (On-premise and cloud environments)

Completed university degree (Bachelor, Master, Diploma) Computer Science or comparable Professional experience in the above areas Knowledge of development & operations (DevOps) as well as IT service management and ITIL Frameworks (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) Knowledge of backend development and common programming languages and scripting (e.g. Python, Bash, PowerShell) Very good knowledge of Linux server administration Knowledge of infrastructure as code (e.g. Ansible, Terraform) and container technologies and orchestration (e.g. Docker, Podman, Kubernetes)
