DevOps Engineer – Kubernetes / OpenShift (m/w/d)

You don't just want to run systems, you want to actively shape a stable, scalable platform? With us you work on a modern Kubernetes-based on-premise infrastructure and take responsibility for the operation, automation and further development of our OpenShift environment.

You have real influence on architecture, processes and technical standards – and work closely with development teams to provide a powerful and future-proof platform.

These are your tasks

Operation, stabilization and further development of our OpenShift platform in an on-premise environment

Administration and optimization of RHEL systems and Red Hat Satellite

Automation of infrastructure, deployment and operating processes (e.g. with Ansible, Bash and Infrastructure as Code)

Planning and implementation of updates, patches and lifecycle measures

Monitoring, error analysis and performance optimization (e.g. with Grafana, Nagios or PRTG)

Analysis and sustainable improvement of incidents and continuous improvement of the platform

Close cooperation with development teams and further development of CI/CD processes and platform standards

That makes you

Experience in the operation of Kubernetes environments (OpenShift of advantage, but no need)

Good Linux knowledge, ideally in the RHEL environment

Experience with automation (e.g. Ansible, Bash or comparable tools)

Understanding DevOps Principles like CI/CD, Automation and Ownership

Structured, independent and solution-oriented mode of operation

Very good German knowledge (at least C1)

The salary margin for this position is 65,000 to 85,000 euros gross annually, depending on qualification and professional experience.
