Head of IT (m/f/d)

You lead your five-member team of the IT department with vision and empathy. You report directly to the administration, but act as a central contact partner (m/w/d) for the entire city administration. IT strategy and architecture: You develop the city's IT strategy independently. You decide on the future operating models, the server infrastructure and the security architecture in order to align the system landscape with the future. Guided tour and model: You guide the department professionally and dis­cilely, promote the further development of your employees and ensure a modern working culture. Central service provider: You are the first contact partner (m/w/d) for all specialist offices – from the construction office to the civil office. You take up requests, advise on technical solutions and ensure the appropriate provision of hardware and software. Interdisciplinary cooperation: Within your own office, you work closely with the areas of organization and digitization to exploit synergies, to train administrative processes in a technically optimal manner and to make usable technologies such as artificial intelligence. Operation and security: Together with your team, you will ensure the safe operation of the IT infrastructure and the control or Further development of the IT-Service-Management and consistently implement the information security requirements.

Qualification: completed studies in the field of infor­mation, management infor­mation or infor­mation; (m/w/d) (BL II) with multiannual IT experience or a comparable qualification Experience: You bring experience in IT operation or IT management. You have already shown that you can not only manage IT landscapes, but also develop them strategically. Communication: You are a commercial bridge builder (m/w/d). You understand the ''language'' of users in the different offices as well as the technical details of your team Management competency: strong team orientation and a modern leadership agreement that focuses on trust, promotion and cooperation Technical know-how: sound knowledge of Microsoft environments, virtualization, network engineering, IT security standards and IT service management
