Job Title: Embedded Software Developer for the Automation of Mobile Machines (w/m/div.)

Job Description: • As a software developer (w/m/div.) for the automation of mobile work machines, you are significantly shaping our Offroad Robotics Controller (OCR) platform by integrating state-of-the-art signal and image processing technologies. • You develop complex, high-quality embedded software in C++ that enables precise sensor-based environment detection, intelligent data processing and autonomous decision-making based on Linux/QNX. • Your focus is on defining scalable architecture as well as optimizing machine learning and advanced software engineering practices such as CI/CD. • You design control functions and algorithms for the semi-automatic control of mobile machines using radar, ultrasound and camera systems. • In addition, you will guide technical requirements, accompany series production along the V-model and ensure code quality in the agile environment. • In your role, you strategically contribute your technical expertise to the team and ensure the performance and competitiveness of our partially automated machines.

Qualifications: • Training: completed studies in the field of economics, economics or comparable qualifications • Experience and know-how: sound programming knowledge: C++ and Python; CMake for build systems; Secure handling of Linux/QNX systems; hardware-related programming (memory management, multithreading); knowledge of common communication protocols (Ethernet, CAN); sensor processing (radar, ultrasound, video) and sensor fusion; Machine Learning (in particular Edge AI and deployment on embedded hardware) • Personality and working methods: independent and targeted work, analytical and structured working methods, high team skills and communication skills • Language: very good German and English
