Tasks, competences and responsibility

Acceptance and control of goods inputs by means of accompanying documents

Proper storage of goods in compliance with the regulations and safety of warehouses

Picking and packaging of goods by customer order

Preparation and handling of shipping including Creation of shipping documents

Implementation of regular inventory controls and inventory

Operation of industrial trucks (e.g. forklifts)

Compliance with safety, quality and environmental standards

Technical requirements

Complete vocational training as a specialist warehouse, specialist in warehouse logistics or comparable qualification

Experience in the warehouse area (stock receipt, picking, shipping) desirable

Safe handling of warehouse management and goods management systems (e.g. SAP, WMS)

Valid forklift and experience in handling industrial trucks

knowledge of cargo securing as well as packing and sending goods

Basic knowledge of occupational safety and environmental protection in storage

Experience in the implementation of inventory and inventory control
