System Administrator (m/w/d) We are looking for the Office for Digitization, Organization and IT (DO.IT.) of the Landeshauptstadt Stuttgart. The place shall be occupied without delay. In the IT infrastructure client team, we provide central client components to all offices and subsidiaries of the state capital Stuttgart. We are responsible for the central application and operating system provision as well as terminal management under Windows, the Citrix Virtualization Platform of the state capital Stuttgart, the terminal security of the client devices as well as for the mobile device management of tablets, iPads and iPhones under iOS.

You create, manage, check and maintain city-wide technical guidelines for controlling terminal security products (Anti Virus, ransomware protection, security updates, hard disk encryption, interfaces and application control) You manage, maintain and maintain central group policy objects in the field of terminal security (Windows Client Firewall, Applocker) Your tasks include the support, administration and maintenance of the heterogeneous inter-company system-synthetic infrastructure (system-middleware servers, clients, application software) in the context of terminal security Your tasks include the analysis and development of solutions to ensure extensive IT-Forensic measures in client systems in the IT security context You actively participate in team- and department-wide topics of terminal security and take over leading tasks in working groups in measures of terminal security You actively contribute to the implementation of the Windows Client Security requirements of the state capital of Stuttgart according to BSI Grundschutz A change or addition of the task area is reserved.

A completed relevant study (Bachelor) in the IT field with first professional experience in the written field of activity Persons with a completed IT training (manufacturer) with at least 3 years of relevant professional experience, which have equivalent skills and experience due to previous professional activity to carry out the relevant activities Advanced expertise and practical experience with managed end device security products from different manufacturers (e.g. Trellix, HP Wolf Security, Microsoft) Knowledge and practical experience in the enforcement of terminal security according to BSI basic protection Experience in customer-oriented solution development with reliable knowledge of German for customer contact as well as documentation of solutions Ideally, you have first knowledge of IT forensics, in the PowerShell programming or comparable script languages for automation (e.g. Batch, Python, Perl) and knowledge in IT service management (ITIL)
