As a primary digitization partner of the Bundeswehr, we provide stable, safe and efficient IT services in Germany and abroad, from basic operations to the field close to the application and thus contribute to the continuous increase in the leadership and operational capacity of the Bundeswehr. With over 7,000 colleagues, we operate and modernise one of the largest and most complex IT infrastructures in Germany. We are looking for responsible IT specialists who are convinced that the Bundeswehr-IT will further develop in challenging digitalization projects and thus contribute to Germany's security. Together with us, you are worried about the future digital capability of the Bundeswehr. Senior IT-Servicetechniker (m/w/d) from 01.05.2025 and full-time in Rheinbach. The Service Center Bonn ensures decentralized service delivery and a permanent representation of BWI GmbH to more than 50 customer orientations in the Bonn area.

Acceptance, analysis and elimination of incidents and requests in the PC, telephony, LAN and WAN environment in compliance with the applicable service levels and comprehensive documentation of this process

decentralized implementation of the second-level support or Support of the central operating units on site as the face of the BWI to the users

Installation, commissioning, upgrade and maintenance of hardware and software

Implementation of DGUV V3 tests and cooperation on quality assurance measures (e.g. LAN documentation)

Cooperation in projects, e.g. to adapt and expand existing IT infrastructures

Participation in readiness

Successfully completed 3-year vocational training in the IT sector (e.g. IT system electronics) or comparable

Circa 3 years of professional experience

German language skills

Experience in the Bundeswehr environment desirable

Own initiative, team skills and organisational skills

High communication capability and customer and quality orientation

driving licence class B
