In this role, you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offering our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.

Your role and responsibilities

As an architect at IBM Consulting, you will serve as a leader in defining solutions for customers. You will be the contact person for the customer while leading the technical team for implementation.

As an SAP architect, you act as an intermediary between company and technology. You will use your analytical and problem-solving skills to develop customizable, comprehensive suites that are suitable for any customer.

Your main responsibilities include:

• Strategic technical solutions for business transformations: cooperation with a multidisciplinary team to design technical solutions needed to support business transformations, and the presentation of proposed solutions in business-related terms to demonstrate technical effectiveness.
• Project management and delivery excellence: The management or execution of specific project suppliers and scope definitions to ensure that project plans and timetables are complied with.
• Architectural leadership and functional specifications: Architectural monitoring for providing solutions, technical advice and functional specifications based on business requirements.
• Continuous extension of SAP knowledge: You can expand your SAP knowledge spectrum (in cooperation with SAP training).

• Technical knowledge in SAP S/4HANA and transformation scenarios (HANA database, RISE impacts, BTP)
• Knowledge of methods of corporate architecture, application management and inventory management and tools (e.g. LeanIX)
• Support for the identification and processing of key dimensions decisions in the field of enterprise architecture
