Inspector Rail Vehicles (m/f/d)

You carry out inspections on rail vehicles and operating vehicles according to BOStrab, EBO and the valid technical control units at specified test intervals. You analyse disorders independently and initiate appropriate measures to remedy them. You assess components and components of rail vehicles with regard to their operational and traffic safety. You also carry out brake, measurement and function tests. As part of a continuous improvement process, you will monitor and develop inspection contents and testing processes together with the team. You keep an eye on the ongoing activities and processes in the workshops. This ensures that work instructions are adhered to and the necessary materials and qualifications are present in the workshops.

You have completed professional and technical training, ideally as an electronic (m/w/d) or mechatronic (m/w/d). You bring several years of professional experience (at least 3 years) . You have knowledge of the wiring, assembly and installation of assemblies and have basic knowledge in the electronic and electrical field. You work independently, structured and solution-oriented, even in new or complex tasks. You are characterised by ready-to-use, flexibility and load-bearing capacity – even under time pressure. You are dizzy-free and physically loadable, as the work takes place partly at a greater height or in confined spaces. You are ready to work occasionally even outside the usual working hours (e.g. on weekends or holidays). You have a safe handling of computer systems. You own the class B driver's license and bring the motivation to acquire the driving authorization for rail vehicles.
