Since 2016, Mercedes-Benz Connectivity Services GmbH has been connecting the automotive and digital world around the connected vehicle: With innovative data-based solutions, the subsidiary of Mercedes-Benz AG acquired its B2B customers to make business processes more efficient, improved customer experiences or develop new business models.

Mercedes-Benz Connectivity Services creates digital solutions of the future that help B2B customers to increase their process quality and efficiency, improve customer experiences, act moreably sustain or develop new business models. It is based on real-time data from measuring points and signals inside and outside of Mercedes-Benz vehicles worldwide. This data is used to generate added value for products and processes in companies from a wide range of industries. The secure and responsible handling of data is balancing the basis for the acceptance of services around connected driving. The Stuttgart-based company has about 75 employees working on the development, operation and sales of digital data-based products.

Our Engineering & Technology Team is looking for a Cloud Solution Architect (f/m/d) on a full-time basic as soon as possible.

Engineering & Technology team:

• We are an experienced, passionate & self-organized team being in batch to develop & operating data driven award-winning digital products and innovative IoT services with cloud native microservices for business customers of Mercedes Benz
• We are working agile, delivering new features to our customers with every sprint using our automated CI/CD pipeline

These exciting tasks are waiting for you:

• Architect, design, develop & run innovative digital products around the connected vehicle in an agile team
• Discuss, challenge and document requirements together with the product manager, product owner
• Assuring high quality by following architecture methods & patterns, best practices and collaboration with the DevOps engineers
• Manage maintain architecture & design documentation
• Analyze and solve problems during development and production
• Analyze & solving problems in our development and production environments in a blameless culture
• Contribute to reviews and share your knowledge with the team

The position is filled as soon as possible on a full-time basic.

Qualifications

Your profile:

• You are breathing an agile, cloud native and DevOps mindset
• You are familiar with architecture methods and design patterns
• You are experienced in architecting secure & scalable solutions for microservices, modular web applications and event driven architectures
• You are enthusiastic about designing solutions having data privacy and security in mind
• You have experience with the Azure cloud and Azure services such as AKS, ADX, API Management, Event Hubs, Log Analytics & Azure DevOps
• You are familiar with SQL and NoSQL Databases
• You speak various internet protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP, REST, Messaging, OAUTH etc.)
• You have experience in Gitops and running a CI/CD pipeline
• You are not shy of writing and reviewing code
• You know how to run solutions 24/7
• You are eager to learn new methods and technologies
• You are fluent in English; German is a plus.
• Scrum master skills are a plus
