SharePoint Administrator / Windows Systems Engineer – Collaboration and Infrastructure (m/f/d)

You take over the operation, development and modernization of SharePoint environments of our customers. In this role, you enter existing SharePoint farms, supported by migrations and new builds, and you can also operate classic Windows server environments.

You work in customer environments of different sizes and complexity, analyze existing platforms, ensure stable and secure operation and support projects around SharePoint, Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft Infrastructure and Managed Services. Operation, administration and development of existing SharePoint farms in customer environments Monitoring, maintenance and error analysis of SharePoint environments including services, databases, web applications, site collections and authorization structures Planning, construction and configuration of new SharePoint farms taking into account availability, security, scalability and operational capability Implementation and support of SharePoint migrations, modernizations and version changes Analysis of existing collaboration and Windows infrastructures and identification of optimization, modernisation and automation potentials Support in running Windows Server environments, Active Directory, Group policies, DNS and other Microsoft infrastructure components Recording technical and technical requirements, translation into implementable solution concepts and accompanying technical implementation Error analysis and Troubleshooting in the SharePoint and Windows Server environment Creation and maintenance of operating documentation, standards, installation specifications and best practices Support for customer projects, migrations and managed services scenarios in the Microsoft infrastructure environment

You have a completed training, a study in the IT field or a comparable qualification – our practical experience is more important. You have well-founded experience in the administration and operation of SharePoint farms. You know about SharePoint on-Premises and have ideally built, expanded or migrated new farms. You have experience in running Windows Server environments and bring a good understanding of Active Directory, DNS, Group policies and Microsoft infrastructures. You can accept, structure and understand technical requirements – both for technical teams and for customer contact partners. You work independently, solution-oriented and keep an overview in complex customer environments. You have a good understanding of stable, secure and manageable IT solutions. You are ready to introduce yourself beyond SharePoint to the general operation of Windows and Microsoft infrastructures. Nice to have Experience in a system house, MSP or IT service line environment. Experience with SharePoint migrations, version changes or major modernization projects. Knowledge in Microsoft 365, SharePoint Online, Teams or hybrid collaboration scenarios. Experience with PowerShell, automation or standardization of operational tasks. Knowledge of SQL Server, IIS, Load Balancing, Backup / Restore or Monitoring of SharePoint environments. Experience with managed services, operating models or recurring customer solutions.
