With us, as a technically responsible person, you will form the databases and the web-frontend of the road traffic census (SVZ), a central data base of the federal highways. If you also like to work independently on automated data processes, think in system relationships and want to help shape Germany's digital transport infrastructure with your work, we look forward to your meaningful application. Their own work focuses on the three fields: Database Conception, Development and Monitoring Automation of evaluations Programming and interface development Their tasks are: You design and develop complex database systems, ensuring scalability, performance and data integrity. You design data processes, implement automated evaluations (DTV, SV shares, time series) and build interactive dashboards. You are in exchange with relevant stakeholders on the delivery and use of the data. You develop APIs for the central specialist systems, such as the Federal Information System Strasse (BISStra), and ensure the smooth flow of data in the federal ecosystem. You develop web applications for data acquisition and analysis with Python and Django. Automated plausibility checks ensure data quality.

You should bring this with you: Completed university education (Bachelor or Diploma - FH) in the field of computer science, information technology, information system technology or comparable discipline This distinguishes you: Knowledge of relational database systems (in particular PostgreSQL/ PostGIS) Secure control of SQL and experience with database administration Good knowledge of data modelling Good knowledge of Python and relevant libraries (e.g. pandas, NumPy, Django etc.) Knowledge of Linux system administration Experience with version control systems (Git) Basic knowledge of modern container solutions (e.g. Docker) Knowledge of web development Good English language skills, comparable language level B1 to GER Very good German language skills, comparable language level C2 to GER Ready for multi-day missions Ability to connect thinking Communication and information capability Self-employment and initiative Ability to work together Conflict
