In this position, you are responsible for the formation and validation of structural and thermal models and perform both linear and nonlinear FEM calculations with FEM tools. You optimize the solidity and mass of components, take into account static, dynamic and thermal conditions, and develop structural-mechanical concepts for lightweight structures. In addition, you take over the design and topology optimization for 3D printed components and improve the dynamic behavior of mecha­nian structures. You carry out life expectancy calculations for components which are static, dynamic and thermal, and develop concepts for welding assemblies. The planning, implementation and evaluation of searches for struc­tures, as well as the establishment of test equipment and approval documents for the struc­tural integrity round off your range of tasks.

You have a graduated degree, for example in the field of industrial engineering, air and space technology, or a comparable subject. You bring well-founded experience in short-term dynamics and can use these experi­ences in a targeted way to analyze and optimize construction parts. You have an ex­pressed problem­solving capability and are capable of meeting complex technological challenges efficiently.
