Controlling: In operational controlling, you control budgets and forecasts and ensure that our energy projects remain financially on track Reporting: You are responsible for risk and financial reporting as well as the expansion of company-wide reporting – from the definition of relevant KPIs to the conception of reporting processes and standards to the implementation of suitable BI tools Regulatorik: Compliance with regulatory requirements in the energy industry is monitored by you and translated into clear requirements for processes and reports Process optimization: You identify optimization potentials in financial and risk processes and drive the automation and migration of tools with a view to efficiency and quality Risk Management: As a central role in risk management, you identify and evaluate risks along the energy-economic value chain, define risk limits and policies and coordinate appropriate safeguarding and control measures with the departments Sparring: As a proactive austerity partner for management and disciplines, you interpret energy, financial and risk data, implement suitable measures and strengthen the stability of our energy business and the quality of decision-making processes

A completed degree in business management, finance, risk management or a comparable qualification forms your basis, supplemented by multi-year, relevant professional experience in operational controlling and risk management The functioning of electricity and gas markets as well as the relevant regulatory environment in the energy industry are very familiar to you. In addition, you have well-founded experience in identifying, evaluating and managing market price, quantity, credit and liquidity risks You bring practical experience in controlling energy business models, control budgets and forecasts securely and are able to derive sound control impulses for management from key figures and KPIs Very good knowledge in Excel as well as in common reporting and BI tools (e.g. Power BI or Kosy Enterprise). You are safe in handling large amounts of data and use it for efficient reporting with stable processes and automation solutions communicate due to your pronounced communication strength You clearly and address complex issues and act as a sovereign Sparring partner for management and departments Also in a dynamic environment, you work resiliently and flexibly, act solution-oriented and actively contribute to the further development of structures and processes
